ABOUT
The idea for The Nectar Nook was first conceived in the early summer of 2017 in the heart of the Somerset countryside. Both of the company's creators had spent years living and working around Glastonbury and within the festival scene. The girls decided to take that experience and use it to form their own events business, bringing a little bit of sparkle, fun and fairy herbal magic to your special occasion. MEET THE OWNERS

Helen Rideout is a Medical Herbalist with more than a decade of experience. She has an inexhaustible passion for herbs and loves to share her wisdom with budding herbalists and complete novices alike. She runs very popular herbs walks, hands-on garden sessions in her medicinal herb garden, and courses & workshops. When she's not out gathering herbs and making medicines she runs a busy community clinic seeing clients, working one-to-one to help them regain their health, naturally.

As a young Irish lass Katherine spent a fair few hours behind the counter of bars and cafes from Ireland to Australia before coming to rest at the base of Glastonbury Tor, thirteen years ago. She then spent seven years working for Sunrise Celebration festival, the UK's leading sustainable festival at the time, in a number of roles including Marketing Manager and general event coordinator. Her experience of running a large scale festival and the passion she fostered with Sunrise for the environment and sustainable living gave her the drive to create a little corner of the festival experience, at other events.... And so The Nectar Nook was born.
